Dress Down Day holds a special place in our hearts at Sparrow’s Nest. Thanks to the sale of over 5,000 pieces of apparel, we’re able to raise more than $100,000 annually—helping us sustain and grow our mission year after year. But buying a shirt goes far beyond fundraising.
When you put on a Sparrow’s Nest shirt, you become an ambassador for what we do. It’s not just a really cool, ultra-soft (seriously, the softest yet!) piece of clothing—it’s a statement. Your shirt tells the world, “This feeds people battling cancer.”
Believe it or not, not everyone knows about Sparrow’s Nest, but your shirt helps change that. You, our incredible community, are the reason more people learn about our mission.
And there’s more. That shirt you’re wearing sends a powerful message to families—and now individuals, as we expand to feed anyone in Dutchess County. It tells them they’re not alone. It shows that their community is rallying behind them.
Thank you for being part of this movement, one shirt at a time
